Children can join our groups from anywhere, time zone permitting. Players can easily participate from anywhere in the continental U.S. Our games are most accessible to players in Eastern, Mountain, Central, and Pacific tine zones. You may have a trickier time joining us at a reasonable hour if you’re outside of these areas.

Yes! There is always at least one (and sometimes two) trained adult on the call. Your child’s game will be run by the same Game Master every week, so they’ll get to know each other well.
-
All of us work professionally with children in our non-D&D lives, so safety is important to us. We use a secure Zoom room for sessions, and the website we use for actual D&D play is only accessible via invite.
We set ground rules with our players to make sure everyone gets to play in an environment that feels safe, welcoming, and affirming to all.

Beginners are welcome in our groups—actually, we love having beginners join us! Most of our groups have a mix of experience levels. Many players have at least some interest in D&D before joining, and may have played once or twice. A few are already experienced players, and that is fun too!
-
No. Every group is unique, and we tailor the storylines to match the interests, style, and goals of those players. Kids have a good amount of say in what direction a story goes, which keeps things interesting. Our Game Masters all have different styles, too, so you might want to check out their bios for inspiration.

Once we’ve chatted, we’ll get your child on the waitlist for our next round of games, which run each quarter. Sometimes, we’ll have immediate availability in an existing group, in which case we can you started right away. -
We have a very limited amount of scholarship funding available to help interested players participate in our games where cost would otherwise be a barrier. We want D&D to be for everyone!
